Refund policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Products in the Apparel collection are fulfilled by a 3rd party, and therefore have their own return policy. Please see the separate Apparel policy below.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Any orders shipped to addresses outside North America cannot be returned or refunded. All international sales to addresses outside North America are considered "final sale."

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Guitar and Bass Pickups:
Pickups may be returned within 30 days of being received if they have not been installed and are in new condition. Any pickups which have been installed or altered by the customer are not returnable. Pickups are fully checked for resistance when shipped. Buyers are encouraged to check resistance when the pickup is received to ensure functionality.

Thrift Store:
Items listed in the Thompson Guitar & Thrift “Thrift Store” are NOS (new old stock), blemished NOS, or used. Functionality is tested on electronic parts, and where applicable, resistance is listed on pickup listings. Items in the Thrift Store are not returnable. All sales are considered final. No coupons, automatic discounts or any other B2B or personal discounts can be applied to items in the Thrift Store.

International Orders:

Any orders shipped to addresses outside North America cannot be returned or refunded. All international sales to addresses outside North America are considered "final sale."


Additional non-returnable items: 

Gift cards, Downloadable software products, Apparel products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 business days.

Defective Items
If your item is defective, contact info@thompsonguitarandthrift.com within 30 days. Once the item is returned and inspected, we will provide a full refund and pay for return shipping. Items purchased in the Thrift Store cannot be returned, however, if defective, contact info@thompsonguitarparts.com

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Clearance, Demo or Blemished items (if applicable)
Any listing marked as "Clearance" "Demo" or "Blemished" is sold as is and cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thompsonguitarparts.com and send your item to: Thompson Guitar & Thrift, PO Box 51134, Phoenix AZ 85076, United States.

Return Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Thompson Guitar & Thrift, PO Box 51134, Phoenix AZ 85076, United States

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Apparel Return Policy:

Thompson Guitar & Thrift apparel is fulfilled and shipped by a 3rd party, Printful, and are therefore subject to Printful’s return policy, which follows.

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 4 weeks after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.

If customers notice an issue on the products or anything else on the order, please submit a problem report.

Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment

Returned by Customer – Please contact Thompson Guitar & Thrift before returning any apparel products. We do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse. Size exchanges and returns will not be accepted.
